IT training for companies

adesso School of Coding and Software Engineering for Professionals

Digital savvy for companies

adesso is expanding its collaboration with Berlin-based company XU Group GmbH. With the two already working together as part of the new adesso School of Coding and Software Engineering at the XU Exponential University of Applied Sciences in Potsdam, the collaboration will now also extend into corporate education. This will see us offer companies the opportunity to enrol their employees in a bachelor’s degree programme in coding and software engineering.

The XU Group’s ‘XU Online Campus’ currently offers digitalisation experts AZAV-certified further education programmes in the form of online classes, as participants are still not required to come to class in person.

The XU Group has been certified by TÜV Nord as an AZAV educational organisation (AZAV is the German Accreditation and Licensing Ordinance for Employment Promotion [Akkreditierungs- und Zulassungsverordnung Arbeitsförderung]).

Up to 100 per cent of the costs are covered

Companies that are still battling with furlough won’t lose out, as the German Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur, BA) subsidises up to 100 per cent of further training and qualification programmes provided by recognised AZAV educational organisations. This also applies to online programmes, since Covid-19 restrictions are still in place, ruling out the option to hold sessions in a physical classroom.

This funding is available thanks to the federal government’s ‘Work of Tomorrow Act’, which was extended in March 2020.

The XU Online Campus’ range of offerings includes a wide selection of online courses and live tutorials. The programmes are highly iterative to make sure that they involve the latest and most relevant digital technologies, methodologies and skill profiles. Benefit from our expertise and get your company and your employees ready for the future.

>> Subsidies from the state for programmes offered by AZAV-certified educational organisations make it an easier decision for businesses to enrol their employees affected by furlough in training programmes and at the same time promote the innovative strength and competitiveness of their company through them.
