adesso celebrated the grand opening of the third phase of its headquarters in Dortmund yesterday, 18 April 2024. The ceremony, which was inspired by the motto “Real growth is more than numbers – Sometimes it’s a new building”, was attended by Dortmund Mayor Thomas Westphal, as well as customers, partners and other stakeholders. The attractive new building was erected at the city’s Stadtkrone Ost redevelopment project between November 2022 and June 2023. Guests were treated to an exciting programme in which they were able to enjoy extraordinary musical experiences thanks to state-of-the-art technologies.

adesso is launching a new eID service for verifying digital identities. With the Open Digital Identity Solution, or ODIS, the IT service provider offers a complete solution for using the online function (eID) on German ID cards. From June, customers can turn to adesso for all the service components they need from a single source, allowing them to benefit from state-of-the-art technology. ODIS sets a new standard in the market and meets the increasing demand for efficient and secure identity solutions, both in private-sector industries such as banking, insurance and healthcare, as well as in the public sector.

adesso and onpier GmbH have agreed on a new partnership that makes the adesso products in|sure General Policy and in|sure General Claims from the in|sure Ecosphere software-as-a-service application landscape technically compatible with onpier. As a result, interaction between the systems of both partners will be absolutely seamless, offering insurers the chance to market additional products and services to their customers using the onpier platform and taking into account existing customer data. The close integration of the systems offers a world of new opportunities, such as the ability to automatically pre-fill available data in the entry and purchase process, significantly improving the customer experience.

By stepping up its investment in the start-up acto, adesso ventures is underlining its confidence in the business model of the active decision intelligence provider from north-western Germany. acto is part of the existing portfolio of the adesso Group’s venture capital arm and raised around EUR 3.7 million in a recent seed financing round. In addition to adesso ventures, investors also include capital providers specialising in technology, such as 468 Capital and Cusp Capital.

adesso, a leading IT service provider in Germany, is taking the opportunity of winning a project with an international bank from Bahrain to open its first national subsidiary in the MENA (Middle East/North Africa) region. With immediate effect, adesso Arabia Ltd. will provide its services to customers in the Gulf region from the Saudi Arabian capital Riyadh. In Riyadh, adesso is already working for the joint venture between a German insurance company and a Saudi bank and provides development services from its own global delivery centres. adesso's activities on the Arabian Peninsula emphasise its international growth strategy and target a booming market. At the same time, the IT service provider is increasing its attraction as a partner for globally active companies expanding into the MENA region. Dr Andreas Nolte, Managing Director of adesso insurance solutions, is responsible for the new location in Riyadh and assumes a dual role as Managing Director.

The new country organisation will initially focus on the core sectors of banking and insurance. In addition to realising implementation and migration projects, adesso Arabia will be responsible for developing customised software solutions for the local market together with local customers and project partners.

Dortmund, 25 March 2024 – In its consolidated financial statements, adesso SE has confirmed the preliminary figures for 2023 that were published by the end of February. The adesso Group saw another sharp increase in group sales in 2023, with the figure up by 26 % (of which 24 percentage points is organic) year on year to EUR 1,135.9 million (previous year: EUR 900.3 million), breaking the EUR 1 billion barrier for the first time.

After lying vacant for many years, the city of Dresden’s former public employment office is being brought back to life, with the IT service provider adesso moving into the historic building on Maternistrasse. The company had already set its sights on this building when establishing its Dresden office, but the interior first had to be converted into a modern office in line with listed building regulations. In the process, adesso and the building’s owner showed their devotion to historical detail by making every effort to retain the original architecture and design of the premises.

adesso is set to open its first office in the German state of Rhineland-Palatinate on 1 March, with a brand-new site in Koblenz. As part of its continued growth strategy, the international IT service provider is expanding its presence on the domestic market with its 33rd office in Germany. The new office will allow adesso to increasing its proximity to current customers and potential new business in the region and target SMEs, corporations and public institutions with its portfolio of services in IT consulting, software development and IT operations.
