Kræftens Bekæmpelse has been using adesso’s lottery software to run their popular lotteries for years. However, the existing system landscape offered potential for digitalisation, especially with regard to the time-consuming, detailed planning process and the process for planning the lottery year, as well as with regard to how the lottery is run with external service providers.
adesso was commissioned to conduct a process analysis to identify weaknesses in the often manual planning processes, as well as in the production interfaces, and to point out opportunities for digitalisation and optimisation. The detailed analysis and documentation of the existing processes according to the BPMN was followed by the drafting of suggestions for improvement and the recommendation of large-scale process automations.
