The challenge was to develop and implement a mobile shopping portal that offers all the features expected from a modern portal and delivers a premium shopping experience. The ‘service layer’, developed by the adesso mobile partner, enabled content to be made available on the mobile website independently of changes in the static online shop.

Christ Juweliere und Uhrmacher seit 1863 GmbH is a German jeweller and watchmaker chain based in Hagen. The company was founded in Frankfurt am Main in 1863. In 1994 it was Germany's largest jewellery company with a turnover of over DM 600 million and around 2,400 employees.
